Adopted Rabbits
We will never forget the rabbits that have binkied their way around Contra Costa Rabbit Rescue on their way to their forever homes. Below are some of their pictures and stories.
Rogue bonded with a handsome bunny boy named Gandalf.
Jet was adopted by a great family, who now call him Jack.
Dulce bonded to a wonderful bunny girl.

Trouble found a great buddy, Trevor. Together they enjoy playing in the yard, pushing around a ball, playing kid tubes and reading books.
Jimmy
Banana Man & Doozie became a failed foster when their foster Mom adopted them herself. They are happy to be left at home on adoption event days since they were never into the car rides in the carrier.
Marble was adopted and bonded with a rabbit named BunBun. They took to each other right away.
Curious George was adopted by a rabbit named Penny and his name was changed to Opie. Penny & Opie are a happily bonded pair of rabbits.
- Max and Emma are adorable dwarf brother and sister rabbits. They are pictured here playing in a rabbit house made by a volunteer named Max who also happens to have a sister named Emma. Max & Emma (the rabbits) are now thriving in their forever homes.
Periwinkle was adopted at the 1st adoption event we took her too. A rabbit named Sassy was brought to the event to find a companion and Periwinkle started grooming Sassy right away. Sassy was not immediately thrilled with the idea of a new rabbit moving in with her but the family worked with the rabbits and they became a happy bonded pair.
Sassy(RIP) and Sweetie Pie(Formerly Periwinkle) Enjoy snuggles together.
